2004. After I had finished a redfish skin mount I realized that – after
11 years of conventional fish taxidermy – something “new”
had to be done …
Carving
fish has always impressed me. But up to now I did not think that it was possible
to create my own. It was the beginning of 2005 when I started fish carving without
any previous knowledge.
The result , by far, was not perfect yet. However it was convincing enough to keep on carving, to increase my skills and to perfect my work.
